Developers note: This app was created by a two-man software team. One of us (me) is in Texas and the other (Damian) lives in California. Creating this app meant one of us (Damian) had to watch EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of Seasons 1-6 PLUS "The Spirit of Christmas" and the feature film "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut." For at least a few weeks, he could honestly claim he was working when he was sitting around in his underwear watching Cartman and Kenny. Meanwhile, I was watching The Office for another of our awesome apps...

So yes, its somewhat home grown, but this app is full-featured. In return for your $1.99, youll get great art, cool sounds, and more than 1000 questions. (1000 is more than any other South Park Quiz on the iTunes store. I dont think I need to go into why thats good.)

Allow me now to address the main concern weve received via Twitter and email:

"The correct answer should be revealed when you dont answer correctly."

No. Absolutely not. This is not a study guide; this is a triva game. If you dont know the answer, youll be penalized. To tell you the right answer would be to reward you unfairly for failing. Thats how we see it. This aint tee-ball. Not everyone is a winner here.

Know a lot about South Park? Prove it! South Park Pop Quiz: Vol 1 will test your knowledge of the characters of South Park and all their wonderfully malicious antics and adventures.

South Park Pop Quiz: Vol 1 contains over a thousand questions (THATS RIGHT--OVER 1000), from "The Spirit of Christmas," EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of Seasons 1-6, and the feature film "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut."

The difficulty of these questions varies, and could perhaps be categorized like this: Cartman Level (a person who has stumbled over a few South Park episodes over the years and therefore would need "seriously" help with the rest of the quiz), Kyle Level (a person who is an avid fan and pays close attention to the show, and therefore would be "kick-ass" at the quiz) and the Home-Schooled Kids Level (a person who possesses a photographic memory and Rain Man-like attention to detail, and therefore would run the High Score List and cause everyone else to say, "screw you guys, Im going home").

With two different fun game modes, the fun outlives your iPhone or iPod Touchs battery, and youll get the opportunity to publish your high scores to the Internet to see how you compare to other players.
